Each devotion highlights a woman in the Bible, sharing her history and motivation, helping the reader to understand her place in biblical history.
For instance, 1 Samuel 1:2 tells us about Hannah's sad situation. The devotion brings this to life by talking about rivalry in today's world, summing it up with an admonition to embrace your own path and follow the course for which God created a unique you.
